I am staying in India with one of my Malayali colleagues and close friends in the summer, but am struggling to find a good, reliable source for learning some of the language before visiting. I can't find any positively rated textbooks or even a grammar guide I could just study from. I already have a lot of experience with Asian languages and so the difficulty shouldn't be a problem; just finding a way to actually learn what the grammar is. Anyone have any recommendations for how to study?

(PS I know English is widely spoken in Kerala, but I have a personal interest in learning the language, it's not just for business)
