How are predicted grades set for the linear alevel exams (2018-2019)

I am doing A level and biology, chemistry, sociology and core maths(core math is an AS)and I’m in my first year about to sit my AS exams. My question is that if I got a B in all three bio, chem and sociology ,will my predicted grades go up by one becoming all As?

There's no guarantee that your predicted grades will go up by one from your AS results. Different schools have different prediction methods, and some might take a look at your whole A-Level 'career' so far to base predictions rather than a single set of AS exams.

The best thing to do would be to speak to your teachers when the UCAS application cycle starts all over again in September.
