My Edexcel A-level music recital is coming up and I’m planning on playing clarinet and piano and splitting my recital in half (I’m grade 8 on both) I was just wondering if youre allowed to swap instruments? I don’t want to be penalized!!

1.Ask your teacher/ exam officer.

2. Check the spec.

On p8 and 9 it talks about instrument, but it I think your situation is unusual and you should check.

E-mail or phone the exam board.

Don't worry, I am playing both my alto sax and clarinet in my Alevel recital with edexcel too, since I am also grade 8 for both and it is absolutely fine
