    I’m currently doing my GCSE’s and am turning sixteen soon and want to get a part time job to save up for uni, what is the best type of job to get (like working in a cafe or stacking shelves)

    Most students get jobs in shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, fast food places, tourist attractions etc.
    All of those are worth a try.
    You might find though that most places wont take you on until you are actually 16, and quite a few wont until you actually finish school (the end of june time). Its worth starting to apply as soon as you are 16 though.

    Retail is a good one. Lots of places offer 4 to 8 hour contracts on weekends which are great for students.

    Mcodnalds is definately worth a try. They take on a lot of students and are very flexible. You can work as many or as few hours as you like.
