Procedure is always the same.

Let x=0.155555...=0.15˙x=0.155555...=0.1\dot{5}

Then you want everything after the decimal point to recur, so we can say that 10x=1.5˙10x=1.\dot{5} and now you can multiply this by 10 again to get the same occurance after the decimal point, so 100x=15.5˙100x = 15.\dot{5}

Now consider 100x10x100x-10x
