Feel free to name the country as a whole or a particular city or area. I'm really into travelling and I always have a list of places I'd like to visit (when I tick one off, another arises).

My current list is below - 1 being the place I'd like to visit most although this won't necessarily happen due to money, time off work etc. Feel free to chip in with info about them if you've been to any (regardless of if you liked or disliked it).

    1. Sri Lanka
    2. Kotor (Montenegro)
    3. Istanbul
    3. New Zealand
    4. Krakow (Poland)
    5. Hawaii
    6. Nicaragua
    7. Edinburgh (and the rural parts of Scotland)
    8. Vancouver
    9. Tallinn (Estonia)
    10. Lisbon
    11. Hong Kong
    12. Mauritius
    13. Iran

The next countries I would love to visit are the Scandinavians, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Hope this for the next year. In this one I have planned my travellings and chosen the locations. Scotland, Ireland and England are also on my list, but I don't know how to manage and what I would like to visit in those countries exactly, but England. I plan to travel to Sheffield to see the Snooker World Championship.

Jealous you're going to Sri Lanka.

I've done Aus, China, Croatia, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand & Vietnam from your list. Aus Croatia & Thailand would be my fav's out of those I just listed (although Thailand is way too commercialised for me now).

Yeah I'm really excited to see it, even if it's only for a couple of days before moving on to India. I didn't even realise I was going there until about a week ago, so it was a nice surprise :ahee:

Let me know what you think of the place and any area so you'd particularly recommend/avoid.

I'm going to South Africa (Johannesburg and Cape Town) and Belgium this year. Both places I've never been before - except a service station somewhere in Flanders.

Really want to go back to the Hague and Montpellier soon, although they're both places I've been before.

Places I haven't been and want to go:
Berlin (have been to Germany but not Berlin)
    Strasbourg
Canada - especially Saskatchewan and Quebec
New Zealand - especially Auckland, as I have friends there but I'd like to explore more of the country too
    Iceland
    Croatia
    Austria
    Hungary
    Guadeloupe
    At least one of Denmark/Norway/Sweden
    Venezuela (when it's safer)
And others tbh. My list could go on forever

I come from Poland so I would definitely recommend Kraków and Poznań as they are beautiful cities, I also love skalne miasto which is more in the mountains and is so fun if you like active holidays. I also loved grand canaria as it's an island which is easy to travel with a car and has lovely hot weather, south of France near Perpignan is also amazing.

If you ever come to my native country, let me know.

Go along with you in terms of Egypt and Rome - and especially Japan! the first two ones because of visiting antique places and the last one because of get the experience of living in a buddhist or shinto monastery.

Japan was at the top of my list and I went there by myself last year during cherry blossom season.

Next I’m looking at Portugal, Taiwan, Nepal, Peru and Chile.
