I have no concerns over the first year.
I resat GCSE maths in 2014 and got A*.
I'm currently 2nd year a level maths with statistics and decision modules, so I don't see a problem with the first year.

I'm just wondering what the second year will be like (part time 60 units per year).

Is there a big jump in difficulty from first year to second? what are the exams like? that sort of thing.

Also, is it best to start in October or February?

Thanks for bumping. if forgotten about this post.

I've decided to start in October, so that I have no waiting times between units (some only start in October) and I have young children and need the "6 week" holiday for them.

I would still like to know about stage 2, especially the exams.
