Hi, I am a EU third year BA student. I moved to London in August 2014 and I started my course in September 2015 (therefore I moved the UK to work and then decided to study). I have worked since then and only now for a month I quit my job to focus on my studies but I will restart working part time again hopefully by the end of the month. I was wondering, since I have been living here for more than 3 years if was eligible for the maintanace grant, if so how much? If not, am I still eligible for the maintanance loan or is too late?
Also, I am not sure I will stay in London after the end of my course, how will I repay my student loan?

    Thank you,
    Letizia

    Hi Letizia,

In order for EU student's to be eligible for Maintenance Loan/Maintenance Grant you must have been ordinarily resident in the UK for 5 years prior to the first day of the first academic year of the course.
Student Loans Company will contact you prior to your loans entering repayment for you to complete and return a form and information on repaying from the UK or overseas.

    Thanks

    Louise
