I've been looking at the Unite Students accomodation in Edinburgh.

The Old Printworks looks good but I was wondering what is the best Unite Students accommodation to live in for first year if you want to be around mostly first years??

Salisbury is UNITE but the university has an agreement to rent out all of their en-suite rooms next academic year.

The Old Printworks isn't exclusive to the university so it costs a hell of a lot more and you aren't going to be around as many first-years as you might hope to.

Also the same as The Old Printworks. Not exclusive to the uni so not exclusive to first-years.

Not to mention bloody expensive given the location it's in (It's in the Quartermile and right next to George Square)

Pollock is the best for first years. There's lots of parties and social activities going on year round. Some halls can be dead, especially the IQ ones.
