    my mother is filling out her side of my student finance application. she gets income support and when she’s rang up to ask what this comes under, they were not very helpful. does anyone elses parents get income support and know what category and which option it comes under? thank you!

    Hi magicwxyz,

    Income support is classed as an non taxable benefit and does not need to be declared. Your mother only has to declared taxable income or taxable benefits.

    oh. thank you. it’s just when i rang, they said income support counts and it’s not on the application. thank you.
