How long to wait after verbal offer for written/contract? watch

    How long should I wait after receiving a verbal offer for an apprenticeship before receiving a written version or contract?

    It'll be different for each one. How long did they say? If it's been more than 2 weeks email and ask.

    They said within the week and it's been two, basically waiting to let my current job know

    If they said within a week and it has been longer than that then give them a ring to find out if there's a problem.

    Gave the company a call (JLR) and they apologized about the delay, they emailed over shortly after asking a few more questions giving me a choice of two jobs before contracting me for the work.

    It was a HR issue as suspected.
