Hi, I'm currently considering taking my A-Levels online, as I'm not sure that I will be able to get the needed math entry requirements to take them in a college or school.

I am planning to take Chemistry and Biology A-Levels online. I am currently predicted A(7) in Biology, B(6) in chemistry and a C(4) in Maths.

I was wondering if anyone else had previously taken these A-Levels online or are currently doing so, and what grade did you come out with. Did you find doing them online was a major disadvantage to those doing them in schools/colleges?

    Thank you.

You can do it, but you miss out on thousands of £s worth of teaching.
Practicals. STEM curses might ask for the practical endorsement that could cost £1,000.

I strongly suggest you talk to the tutor/ head of tear about resitting or negotiating something for Maths if you dont get the 5 or 6 you need.

You also need to redouble your efforts for GCSE now. You have time to move from a 4 to a 6 ask on the Maths forum. You will be at a disadvantage if you choose to home study. make the effort now is my advice.
