    I don't understand how to do modulus questions. For example:

    Q6&7 from june 2013 AQA C3 paper

    Any advice on how to do these sorts of questions and how to work them out would be great. (using a graphical calculator).

    Q6 does not involve the modulus function

    Q7 b: f(|x|) is deleting the negative x part of the f(x) graph and reflecting the positive x part in the y axis and

    Q6 I can't understand the graph (although it isn't modulus). Do I just need to learn the graph shape to be able to answer it? cos on my graphical calculator I can't seem to draw it out.

    Q3 : the graph of |f(x)| is where you reflect any parts below the x axis in the x axis and delete the parts below the x axis.

    to solve |f(x)| = 2 you can solve where f(x) = 2 or -2.... so draw y = -2 on the original graph & find the intersections.

    Yes, pretty sure knowing the graphs of inverse trig functions is part of the spec. So you need to learn them.

    Otherwise, you should know the relationship between functions and their inverses, so just apply it between \cos x and \arccos x
