    Has anyone done the functional skills level 2 City&Guilds recently . I was just wondering is it the same as the AQA one

    They are different examiners each with their own style of exams and exam questions. Aqa is similar to city and guilds but certainly not the same. They cover similar maths content.

    Yes you can.
    You may be able to do it as a part time course at your local college or adult learning service.
    You may be able to do it as a mostly self study course through learndirect.
    There may be other providers local to you who offer it.

    Then you need further study to enable you to pass it.
    If you are no longer in education, you can attend free courses though adult learning, some colleges or third parties such as learn direct that will help you learn and pass level 1 and move on to level 2 when you have improved enough.
