    I'm in my last semester of 4th year in architectural Design..I would like to find a practise for the summer..what is the best way to do it? 😳 thanks

    Try emailing local practices to find out if they have any spaces for Part 1 graduates, or maybe even go straight to some in person. I'm sure your tutors/fellow course members will have better knowledge and advice (I haven't even started Part 1 yet haha), so talk to them and ask how to go about finding placements - they'll probably have contacts too.

    As you're in your 4th year of Part 1, are you at a Scottish uni, and if you don't mind saying, which one? I ask because I've applied to three Scottish unis for Architecture and would be interested in finding out a student's perspective of studying there

    I'm not in the uk at all...I found this page useful..so why not...I'm studying in Ireland, my course is accredit by RIBA..we don't really have much advise what or how to do after to get practise...again thank you for reply! 🙂

    No problem! Oh I see, that's interesting, I never knew that Irish courses were accredited by RIBA. That's a shame, but hopefully you'll be able to get some responses from practices - good luck!
