Current year 12 student sitting my second round of mocks. Hoping for predicted grads of AAA (Computing, Maths, Fmaths) but achieved a U on my last fmaths mock and the current ones aren't looking amazing (maximum C/B). There's still the last round of mocks before predicted grades and they apparently count a lot more. I really want to go to Durham but I'm worried my further maths predicted won't be high now even though I'm quite confident if I work hard enough I could definitely achieve AAA at the end of year 13 (maybe even A* in computing/maths). Advice?

Well first learn to spell Durham properly.

Don't worry about mocks, its good you fail now because you'll figure out what you don't know. There's no use getting good grades in mocks because they won't reveal anything. Many of my 6th form friends got Us in maths mocks but left with A/A*s. Make a study plan, be consistent, stick to it. Its too early to worry about predictions. You've got 6 months to show your teachers what you're capable of. If you're really worried buy them a nice bottle of whiskey and I'm sure they'll give you an A* prediction.
