    Hi all,

I was wondering if it’s possible to book a GCSE and/or A-level Spanish test without actually doing a course at college.

I’m English but I’ve been living in Spain for the past 4 years and am fluent, I’ve recently returned to the UK to begin a degree unrelated to languages but was thinking to have Spanish language qualifications on my CV would not be a harm.

However I feel it would just be a waste of time taking up a weekly Spanish GCSE or A Level course at a college, so my question is can I somehow book and pay for the tests myself and just sit them at a college or something?

Yes you can you need to find an exam centre (=any secondary school or college, plus some private exam centres) willing to let you sit the exams and pay them. The main entry deadline for this Summer is this Wednesday, 21 February but you could still enter this year if you're prepared to pay late fees.
Have you ever experienced racism/sexism at uni?
