When evaluating in 16 markers, do I have to use the studies from the text book (AQA). Some of them don't really make sense to me, and I definately won't remember them.
There are quite a few good evaluation points/ studies online, can I use these?

The markscheme for evaluating in psychology doesn't really have set answers. There's a list of point you can make and then it says 'credit any other appropriate answers'

If I use other studies not from the book, will the examiner know what I'm on about?

Yes, that's fine. Different textbooks include different studies.

However, any named study on the spec. you need to know - Asch, Milgram, Bowlby etc.
