My name is Abbie, I am 14 years old and am taking my French GCSE a year early.

To begin, I began French as a club in year 2. I am now in year 10 where I am still being taught by the same teacher, privately though as she doesn’t work.

I have got no target grade ir current working at level. Although, my Spanish target grade is a 7 (A). My aim is a pass but I feel a pass isn’t showing my full potential and the hard work I have put in these last 8 years.

As of February 2018, I have done little to no revision and I am planning to begin revision this week.

I hope you follow this journey with me and I hope your journeys are amazing resulting in a selection of good grades.

    Hi,

I'm Grace, and 14 years old too - and also will be taking my language GCSE a year early. I have studied Spanish for two years in school but with a private tutor outside of school, and am aiming for full marks.
(I took the specimen paper yesterday and got 58/60)

I'm not allowed to take my GCSE this year because the language exam style is changing in 2018, and I wouldn't be able to take an A-Level in Spanish without having taken the 2019 exam.

    Good luck with your revision..

    Hey, good luck!
I'm in year 11, though I took my English Language GCSE a year early, so I can understand how scary it seems to be sitting a real exam a year earlier than you thought you would. I also do GCSE French, but quite frankly it's not one of my best subjects, though i would recommend apps like Duolingo and Memrise
    Wishing you all the best
