    ill really struggling to pick what course to choose. I have narrowed it down to computing science at the university of glasgow or astrophysics at edinburgh university. i was just looking for opinions and what employment is like after these degrees. Any input is appreciated, thanks

    I wouldn't say physics grads struggle to get work after uni, it's just most of them end up not working in a career directly related to physics. Most grads end up working in financial companies or tech companies. And if you're going to end up in a tech company anyway...why not do CS?

    And IIRC don't Edinburgh do a degree in Computer Science & Physics?

    It depends what you want to do after uni. Do you want to carry on in academia/research or get a job straight after undergrad??
