    Hi all,

    First time poster.

I had an interview at a city firm four weeks ago (the fourth stage of the application, beginning with the initial application, a VI, AC and then the interview) but haven't seen hide nor tail since. Is it common to be 'ghosted' at that stage, or is the silence not necessarily a bad sign?

Not really sure how to interpret the wait, and appreciate that different firms do things in different ways.

    Thanks!

Four weeks is a long time, though not the longest I’ve seen. A firm wouldn’t ghost you at this stage, so they may still be deciding or they may have made a mistake by failing to notify you. I suspect the former. I’d contact them for an update.

Thanks mate; if I hear nothing by Friday, I'll follow up. PM'd you.

Any other opinions also welcome - pretty green with applications, my first cycle.
