Hi there. I have been searching around for an answer but have not been able to find one yet. I was just wondering if anyone here would have an idea.

I am just about to finish an apprenticeship, and with it I will receive a SCQF Level 8 qualification named 'Diploma for Information Technology and Telecommunications Professionals SCQF Level 8'

Does anyone know if this is something Universities will take into consideration? (on top of existing qualifications such as Highers and an HNC) I have tried emailing a few Uni's, but it has been weeks and I have yet to receive a reply.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I don’t see why it would be taken into account, seen as you’d be applying as a mature student I presume? If so, they look at mature students slightly differently as there are many combinations of either qualifications or experience to take into account.

Instead of emailing, could you maybe call the departments you’re interested in?
