I have had myself booked in for my Grade 5 Music theory exam since the beginning of the year; it's due to take place on the 28th of Feb 2018.
However, Due to University interviews and auditions taking up the majority of my year so far I have not been able to invest as much time into my theory study as initially hoped and I do not feel like I am ready for the exam!

I'm working through the official ABRSM books and I'm halfway through Grade 4. I still have a week left to finish this book and work through the Grade 5, but I don't feel like this is the best way to learn as it's rushed and I'll probably have a complete mind blank in the exam.

I have been thinking of withdrawing to save myself the time and stress of entering an exam I am not ready for. I understand that I would not be entitled for a refund, which is a inconvenience and loss I am happy to deal with.

I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on what to do? I am not too sure how to cancel as looking on the ABRSM regulations it only talks about cancellations due to extreme circumstances, which this is not.

    Thanks for Reading!
