Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on these universities for History and Politics? Both are obviously great, but some first-hand, honest feedback would be really appreciated. Thanks, @examstressisreal

The universities will have the details as to how many of their graduates get jobs etc.

What else is important to you about being a student?

The academics being good, not being too boring- equally not a huge party university, and just generally a nice place to live for 3 years. Warwick seems quite dull, but maybe I got the wrong impression ...

When I was an undergraduate, Warwick was considerably less dull than Nottingham, but things change...

Even without waiting for official open days, you could easily visit both campuses on the same day or do one day looking at Warwick + Coventry city and one day in Nottingham, staying overnight somewhere between the two. There are plenty of similarities - both have good arts facilities, for example - but plenty of differences.

Warwick: once out of halls, plenty of students live in Leamington Spa, quite a bus ride away, rather than Coventry or Kenilworth.

Nottingham: nearly all of the main campus halls are catered, with little option to cook anything yourself that's not a ready meal. On the plus side, there's an 'eat anywhere' system that doesn't tie you into eating at your hall for every meal, but check out the menus to see how you'd be with that. Nottingham's bus & tram services are excellent.
