I agree, all my other literature I get on fine with but Jekyll and Hyde just doesn't make sense to me...

i quite like the novella, though i do agree it's not an easy book. easier than macbeth though for me- what don't you understand about it? making a chapter summary with key quotes helps me to understand the book. it can be a long task, but definitely will help me in the long run.
make quote banks for each character, link them to themes when possible.

I find it hard mostly because of the vocab, but the storyline is not that difficult to grasp. Make a summary like the previous person said and, for the most important parts of the book, learn what the hardest words mean. I find that the hardest bit is the last chapter so really try picking this apart
