Hello, I applied to do using and applying maths in sixth form (1 year course). Has anyone done core maths and could you tell me the things and topics you do in core maths?
    Thanks

I’m doing it alongside BTEC L3 IT (Software Development)

It’s not like regular maths or pure mathematics at A-Level, I really don’t know how exactly to explain it but your working with more general maths like estimation, probability, finance (maths involving tax and student loan) google should come up with a bit more.

Depends which core you're doing. Sounds like the AS, which is C1, C2 and an optional module. It's mainly binomial, calculus, algebraic division, trigonometry etc. Google C1 and C2 maths.

It’s equivalent to an AS Level hence why it’s a year.
