    can someone please explain how to do this question?

    The probability that Michael makes a mistake when typing a symbol is 0.005.
    Find the probability that Michael makes no mistakes when typing 500 symbols.

    Give your answer to 3 s.f.

    Sounds like a Geometric question.

    Probability that he will make a mistake is 0.005
    What would the probability be that he won't make a mistake?

    I believe you just raise the probability that he won't make a mistake to the number of words.

    I may be wrong, I hated stats

    nope tried that and got 498 but the online test thing says it's wrong thank you though
