I was wondering if someone misses their English mock, would it effect their GCSE grades?

not really i guess. cause i was an igcse student and i havent attended my mocks as i was ill. so from my experience now i know that in my school mocks are conducted by the school and it doesnt effect your boards or so in any other ways especially if you have a school which is cooperative.

mocks are usually provided for you to have a clear idea of how your exams will be conducted and to know what is your current knowledge status in all the subjects.

In my school, this was how it was. but maybe in your school the level of importance given to mock exams might be higher

Mocks are supposed to tell you and your teacher how ready you are for the real exam.
If you've missed it then you have lost an opportunity for some valuable feedback on where you need to improve but it will not otherwise affect your final grade.
