Advice on student finance/loans maintenance loans etc. As I’m in full time work and obviously would have to quit full time work to go back to full time education. TIA

    Hi Shonaa92,

From 2017/18 academic year new students studying Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional (AHP) courses will no longer receive bursary funding from the NHS and will instead receive regular Student Finance (SFE) support.

This means you will be eligible for tuition fee Loan of up to £9250, and the full means tested Maintenance Loan . You will also be able to apply for Disabled Students Allowance and Grants for Dependents.

Applications for course commencing in September 2018 are now open. If you are over 25 years old you would be classed as an independent student and we would assess the household income based on your partners 16/17 tax year income.
If you want to check an estimated of what funding you maybe eligible to receive ,you can check that Student Finance Calculator online.

Please see below link for Student Finance Calculator.

    Thanks

    Louise
