    Hi,

Would like to clarify if Gymnasium in Sweden is equivalent to GCSE in UK.

Gymnasium is the same as Upper Secondary School and it is generally attended between the ages 16-19.

I did Maths A, B and English A, B and C at Gymnasium as they were mandatory subjects

Recently applied for a MA in Social Work, and been told that I need GSCE in Maths and English.

However, I already have a BA Honors in International Relations, a degree I attained here in the UK at Kingston University in 2008.

Would it have been possible for me to be accepted for BA Honors at Kingston if I didn't have the GCSE in Maths and English?

Which university is the MA course at?
You just need to talk to the right people. If you studied in English then its like that and the fact you did a BA should be sufficient, but different universities have different rules as to what they consider good proof.
