Mind Block Studying watch

    • Thread Starter

    Hi everyone,
My name is Jasmin and today I am revising for my maths exam which is tomorrow. If you could tell by me writing this it isn’t going very well. I can’t seem to understand any of it no matter how hard I try and how many practise questions and videos I watch. So I have taken to just writing this and watching a bit of Netflix to give myself some space. Does anyone else ever feel like this? Like I really want to get it done but I just can’t and I get so frustrated because I am just not in the right head space. If anyone has any tips on getting back on track they’d be much appreciated.

I feel like this often. I was speaking to a graduate last week, and they told me the difference between those who get a higher grade and those with a lower, is that you push through the difficulties (such as mind blocks). Everyone will get assessed the same, only you can affect the result of your grade.

You can sit on Netflix and give yourself some space today, or you can give yourself some space after your exam tomorrow. I know which day I would pick to start binge watching a series. ^Kam
