I had this really different approach to art and wanted to include different music tracks in my art work that related to the art itself. For example, I thought to convey a sad emotion in one of my paintings of rain, but I wanted to, like, add a sound next to my painting. This would be a button that you'd press and you can hear the music play through a speaker attached to the back of my sketchbook.
But my question is, is it copyright or just not allowed to use music in art exam?

Is this GCSE or A Level?
I did gcse art and I did a topic on musical connections and I wanted to do something very similar but I gave up on that idea lol
If you could do it it would be amazing. Either ask your teacher or look up the exam board you use or contact them perhaps?

That's ok! Yeah I think the exam board would be the one to help as they could give advice on the copyrighting and requirements etc
Hope you're able to do it 😊
