Can you apply to Nottingham university for Engineering and Physical Sciences foundation year with correct a levels for direct entry (Maths, Physics and Chemistry)?
On the entry requirements it says "any A level will be considered"
I'm thinking of applying to it through Extra if they have the spaces...

Perspectives on this vary between individual universities, but a number of similar foundation years don't consider applications from those taking the "correct" subjects - and indicate such applicants should apply directly to the relevant course (Manchester, I believe, is one such university).
I would recommend contacting them directly to check, as if they don't have any clear indications on the application pages about this that will be the only way to find out for certain. They may be happy to take any applicant, they may want to see some indication of extenuating circumstances explaining why you were unable to be considered for the standard course, or they may not consider it at all. Only they can say for certain!
