    hi im an international student in year 13 who sucks at english. my history teacher constantly criticizes my essays because of my lack of fluency when writing. he recommended me to start reading english books but i don't know which ones (Ps only read Harry Potter in english haha)

    which ones would u guys recommend me to improve quickly enough my english for the history exam?? thkss

    I'm also an international student studying A levels. Luckily my teachers are very supportive when it comes to language deficiencies. Considering you are quite close to your exams, don't bother reading fictional books, they just take away from valuable revision time. Combine your wider reading for history with increases your range of vocabulary and fluency. It's a win win in that case. Hope this helps (and I totally understand the struggle you are facing)
