    Hello,

I am currently in my first year of university. However I have had some second thoughts and have thought about going to a drama school/conservatory instead. In order for me to apply I have to apply for ucas Conservatories first, this is different from a regular ucas apprenty so I have to go through this type of process again. I have started my application however I have some questions. Because I am currently at university is my highest qualification still going to be just the grades I got before attending university or should I mention that I am currently doing a degree? Also who do I use as referees? Do I use my old one or find a new one? I am not necessarily going to be dropping out of university after my first year to go somewhere else but I would like to have the option just in case I decide my current university isn't for me. Thanks for reading and I will appreciate any advice you are able to give me

Any grades from this uni have to be declared along with your A levels. It's best to use a referee from your current uni who can give an up to date reference.

You need to list all of your education history. It’s up to you who you ask for a reference. Ideally you’ll want someone who can comment on your performing abilities.

You are applying quite late for conservatoires...have you checked with the schools you’re applying to that they are still accepting applications?
