I need help on whether to choose economics or psychology as my GCSEs. I'm expecting to become either a genetic engineer or a diplomat/politician so I'm unsure which of the above suit it better.
My other GCSEs are: History, French, Computer science and Triple sciences.
On an ability based level I'd be able to do equally as well in both and I like both equally. I'd like an answer/opinion based purely on what suits my careers better. I am fluid in writing essays as well as in mathematics and learning theories. I do realise that these careers are more suited towards my humanitarian/political career ideas.

I may be slightly biased since its my minor but I'll go with Psychology. Such an interesting field and one thing that I'm sure you won;t really get out of econ, is that you can relate on so many levels on some of the theories, teachings, etc.
Psychology has taught me so much and introduced me to a world that is sooo fascinating.
I have plans on doing an MSc in International Relations which I hope can lead me into diplomatic, humanitarian work as well.
