    As I've said on my previous post that might have been over exaggerated.

    A scratch can be something from 1cm to a whole side etc etc

    All small stuff under 4cm, not deep. And there are no bumps/lumps on the car. Regardless, it's on the body shop now, all courtesy of the dealership

    But we do know the details of the deal... OP told us. It's a clip round the ear because he should have asked us for help with the valuation before wasting money; since we'd rather not see him back in a few months time crying that the world is collapsing around him; we generally mean well - if you can't understand that this is a very bad section for you to post in.

    Charming. He did pay over the odds - how isn't that helpful? He can now use this information to be a little more persuasive the next time he buys a car, and get the price down to something reasonable!
