    Hi Alexandra,

    It's difficult to say.

Leeds score you based on your top 9 GCSEs. While their minimum requirement for GCSEs are 6 Bs, 40% of their applicants offer 9 A*s at GCSE. This suggests that your GCSEs may be too low to be comparable to other candidates with similar A-Levels and BMAT but higher GCSEs. If these results were due to mitigating circumstances (i.e. health issues or other unforeseen circumstances) at the time of your GCSEs and you can supply evidence of this, you could still be considered.

However, as long as you're successful in achieving them, you do match the AAA requirement at A-Level. And it's worth noting that Leeds don't consider the A* to be higher than an A.

As for BMAT: the way Leeds considers BMAT scores is to compare the total score with all other applicants, so there isn't a specific cut off point. If your score is in the top 20% of applicants, you will receive full marks for this part of your application.

    Hope this helps!
