Hey, I´m currently looking to do online A-levels but I can't find any one provider that provides everything I´m looking for. Is there any problem in using a few providers and exam bodies at the same time or will I have problems?
And if you have any more information with regards to my situation it would be very helpful.

    Thank you, Charlie.

Shouldn't be a problem apart from the practicalities - and possibly the price!

Before you sign on the dotted line, check where you are going to sit the exams as you will need to take your A levels as an external candidate. You don't want to find at the last minute that you've got your Edexel exams in one town and your AQA ones 20 miles away!

When my son did his IGCSEs as an external candidate, we simply approached a local school and had a chat with the Headmaster who was very accommodating. Don't rely on the information given on the examining boards' websites regarding their centres for external candidates; I did try that initially and most of the data was out of date.

Otherwise most exam boards coordinate their exams so that across the boards everyone will be sitting, say, Maths, on the same day and at the same time - so you shouldn't have clashes unless your subjects are very specialist.

Just as a matter of interest, which subjects are you thinking of taking, and which providers have you looked at so far?

Thank you Anna for the information you have provided.
I would like to do Physics, Maths, Computer Science, and Spanish. There is a private 6th form nearby where I would be able to sit the exams for Physics, Maths, and Spanish. I've looked at NEC, Oxford college, UK open college, Open study college, and Learn Online with Pembrokeshire college, the latter providing all 4 subjects.

Has the 6th from confirmed they would accept you as a private candidate for the exam board of your choice and given you an idea of the price for all 4 subjects?
Be careful with Physics - finding somewhere to do the NEA (assessed practicals) is both difficult and expensive and Computer Science where completing the NEA i(coursework) s also difficult for private candidates.
