Me and this girl have become friends over the last few years (i'm a girl too).

The chemistry we have is 'unusual'...sometimes I feel it signals more than just a regular friendship. I have other friends and can't say this relationship is similar to those where its been completely platonic. By this I mean we flirt with each other very often and tease each other all the time. With other friends I haven't ever flirted with them, it just never felt appropriate, but with her it feels natural.

I'm unsure of her sexuality but I feel like she could be secretly bisexual. I know she likes guys too which is why I think bi and not straight up lesbian. She mentioned that she has never been in a relationship which did make me question this?

They have told me multiple times that they think i'm cute and stuff, "Your so cute". "You look so cute in that picture", "thanks babe" etc.

Lately they messaged me out of the blue telling me they were missing me. "I miss you. I don't know why but I miss you". They have said this before and i've always thought why did they tell me this?? It's the fact they say "I don't know why" which confuses me?

Do you think its possible they could have a crush on me/be secretly bi? or do you think this is normal behaviour between just friends. Any girls on here do this with your friends?? I'm so confuseddd about what our relationship is

you have found someone who can't decide or is keen to start something but they don't know who.
your other option is that she likes to flirt with everyone or some people but nothing serious. It's a pretty open discussion but if you want a clear answer mate., You will have to ask! It's a tough call buddy.

This is why it's all so confusing. Would you say in your opinion, though its pretty clear she is signalling a desire for more than friendship?

From what I have seen she is a naturally outgoing person - not necessarily flirtatious with others but playful. I haven't seen her flirt openly with anyone else other than me.

In terms of asking her, I have thought about doing this for a while now. We hung out once before and I wanted to say something but never did. I was kind of waiting for her to mention something but...nothing.

The thing is I don't even know how to without it being super awkward. Once you ask something like that I feel like it would be hard to go back to being just friends. Is there anything else I could do or do you think this is my only option?

yeah, I asked stuff before. sometimes awkward and sometimes not. but if she is, flirting forms reason she will say or she will blush. but the, you have to say it like you are interested not questioning. It's more likely to be that she thinks you are the chill guy who isn't 100% platonic but anything for her to lighten the day
