Hi, so I am currently at Uni (A) doing a foundation year, and want to go to Uni (B) next year. I have contacted the uni I want to go to, but now I need to make the UCAS application.

On the 'How are you applying page' would I go for independant (because im not at school anymore) or Through my school or college (even though I finished A levels 2 years ago) or, would my Uni have a ucas account and buzzword?

It depends how you're getting your reference.

If you're going to get the reference from your current uni - which would be best as it;s most up to date - then you'll apply as an individual. They don't have their own buzzword.

If you need to go back to your old school for a reference, then you need to ask them. They may ask you to use the buzzword so it's easier for them.

Have you checked that the universities you’re applying to are still accepting late applications?

Also if you’re a uk student swapping from a course with foundation onto a course without foundation will count as using your gift year of funding. That means if you don’t like it and want to restart elsewhere or you fail and need to repeat a year then the second additional year you wouldn’t be eligible for a tuition fee loan.
