    If they never taught you and you're over 18 then it's pretty much just having sex with someone who happens to teach

    For anyone who you have a duty of care over - pupils at a school you teach, for example - the age of consent is 18, not 16.

    Regardless of your age, if you're in the same school as they teach, it's likely to be against their contract.
