    claireestelle can correct me if I'm wrong, but the deadline was the 15th of January for non-art & design courses (many of which have a later deadline of March 24th) for your application to be guaranteed to be considered. As I understand you can still submit an application, but the universities have no obligation to consider it - it's quite possible for very popular universities/courses (such as LSE, UCL etc) they would not. However, they may do, particularly for less subscribed universities or courses (which may be quite well regarded in their fields of specialization).

    Beyond that, you can still apply through Clearing later in the year - but the courses which are available will vary, and you won't know until after results day. It can be quite a hectic time ringing up universities to try and get a spot, as usually they will make acceptances to students on a first come first serve basis during clearing until they run out of places.
