He had to email them tho they'd lost him in the system, they thought he'd already been interviewed and got an offer.

Whaaat? so it's possible that the admissions can lose application forms?! :eek: Oh dear, I wonder if mine's been lost in an obscure place.
I dunno if he'd been lost as such, when he emailed them asking what was going on they thought they'd already offered him a place after an interview, and then gave him an actual interview date in Feb. I had an earlyish interview being a Cambridge reject and got in last week.

One of my friends applied for Biomedical Engineering in November and hasn't heard anything.

I was fortunate that all my choices responded within 14 days.

Cardiff, Sheffield, Southampton, Bath, Imperial - for Mechanical Engineering. I got the UCAS conformation letter midway through January, although I suppose the universities may have received my application before then.

Im still waiting. Had my interview on 29th of October. I applied for physics...

OMG isnt it about time you emailed them?! its been more than 3 months!! dear me, and i thought i had it bad with my one whole month of waiting...:P
but anyway, EMAIL THEM! im sure its an offer and they thought theyve already given it to you or something.
To the above poster, i applied for Physics mid September (in oxbridge haste) and i haven't been contacted yet.

I mean, i had to email them in November just to check that they'd received my application.

Yes, that must really suck, but i meant waiting 3 months after the interview is a bit long, because they say theyll tell you within 2-3 weeks. Ive been waiting for a month after interview...
But if youre just waiting for the initial interview, thats a different case altogether. Im sure theyll contact you soon though! Good luck.

I still haven't heard from Imperial about Aero Engineering...and I applied on the 4th December. I checked their website, and they only do interviews till the end of February...

Fret not, hopefully the post is just **** and you'll get your letter on monday.. The letter was dated 6th of Feb, postmark says the 8th. So 1st Class post can take anytime up to 2 days to deliver.
