How long have you been waiting for? Personally, I wouldn't advise phoning for at least another few weeks. The deadline for them to reply is March 31st so they can make us wait until then if they want to, although I hope they don't.
I applied for maths in very early october and stil haven't heard anything !!! IT's frustating as i have received all my other reply's and i need hear from them soon to decide whether or not i should study step 2 for my Warwick offer... i don't even like Warwick....
This might work differently for different departments, but I've got a civil engineering interview on the 5th March and they stated that was the last interview date.

I am very much considering ringing them

4 months now.
I emailed them and in all fairness they answered straight away, (within the hour!.) They just said they had not reached a decision yet on my application.
I had my interview over three weeks ago and still haven't heard anything. The wait is absolutely killing me, and I'm not even entirely sure if I want Imperial as my firm or not. Talk to me damnit!

At least that way, you won't mind as much if you're unsuccessful! You know you've still got Durham, eh?

Yeah that would help soften the blow a lot, especially as they gave me a particularly nice offer (I'm allowed to get a B in Physics if I get the merit ). I know quite a few people who go to/are planning to go to Durham and it seems like a great uni so I think I'd be very happy to go there. I just don't know if I'd be happier in Imperial if they decide to give me an offer - if they do it's going to be hell deciding!
I applied on 4th December for Aerospace and I haven't heard anything yet. I emailed them and they said they're still considering it...but the website says interviews only last till the end of feb, so there's only one interview day left now!
