Anyone STILL not heard from Imperial?

I applied on 4th December for Aerospace and I haven't heard anything yet. I emailed them and they said they're still considering it...but the website says interviews only last till the end of feb, so there's only one interview day left now!

Yeah same situtation kinda. I applied for Biology, but they said the open days run from December to the begining of March, and they contact you at least 1 or 2 weeks in advance for the open day. :frown:

They should just tell a.s.a.p when they dont want you and are going to reject you.

Really? I got my offer ages ago. Only waiting on Bristol now.

When did you hear from them, and when did you go to the open day, and what was the offer? Whoah, sorry for the questions. Well done though. :0)

and me probably. :bawling:

The last Bio open day is on Feb 27th. But I could be wrong.

I'm going to email/phone for the last time tomorrow just to see what the hell is going on.

Probably... I got all 5 offers for Imperial, King's, Loughborough, Surrey and Royal Holloway...

Prob going for Imperial (CF) and King's (CI)..

Btw, I applied October 12th...

Surprised cos my predicted physics grade is a B, unless my school contacted them cos they made a typing error instead of giving me an A. Who knows, at least I got (or will be getting in a week or so) an offer.

Around on thier website. I lurked into those random links to see the dates for the open days.

Dont 100% take my word for it. Those open days mentioned on thier website could just be for other year 12 prospective students. On the confirmation e-mail they sent though they gave a link to thier open days that sent me to the same page that mentioned Feb 27th being the last date.

I think ive just confused you more. But anyway there still is hope. No news is good news  . Ive asked alot of other biology students not on TSR who are applying to Imperial, and they have yet to here as well.

I really can't remember where I read about the Open Days, sorry! Ooh Igloo answered it for me!

Let's just hope that they plan to hold more Open Days! Although that seems pretty unlikely. :p:

Lol, I've seriously lost count of the number of times I've contacted them!! Lemme see... I've emailed them about 7 or 8 times now, they replied to 4 or 5 of them. Erm... called them twice but couldn't get through to the admissions guy because he was "unavailable". What about you?
Arghh.. so sorry people for the four posts earlier on the same comment, my computer really has gone nuts. Though a got a rep for it. :s-smilie:

What have they said all the times when you have contacted them? And sorry but what subject are you applying for again?
I emailed them once, and got a very quick response, but they said they had yet reached to descision, but gave me a phone number on somebody else i could contact, someone more in the department. I didnt phone, because they would only say the same thing as well right?
I've applied for biology at imperial with a year in industry, but still not heard anythin =S Quite worrying actually... *sigh*

I applied for Biochemistry with a Year in Industry C701. They were really nice at the start replying to my emails after 5 minutes or so (they were about some mundane matters regarding Biochem, so not really about how long the admissions process was taking). When I started bugging them about the status of my application nonstop during December I think they started to get really annoyed and just said, be patient, there are other people who's been waiting for longer than you etc. I sent another email a couple of weeks ago just to bug them one more time and they still haven't replied.

I havn't contacted them at all yet. I applied on the 12th Jan so I thought I'd probably be at the bottom of the pile while they sorted out all the applications from christmas and that. I'm getting more and more tempted to email them now, although I think I'll leave it another week or two.

^ Durham?

I got my offer from Durham 2 weeks after applying, it was my first reply. Maybe it's the college I applied to or something.
