    Hi all,

I have an applicant day at Birmingham tomorrow. I don't really want to go, and I do already hold an offer from them (Computer Science), but I feel like I should go. At one point there is a 'one-on-one' talk with an academic - this sounds to me like an interview that isn't an interview. TBH, I don't really want to do Computer Science anymore, but Maths instead. What should I do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would still go. You never know, it may persuade you to do Computer Science again. Also if you want to do Maths, would you still apply to Birmingham to do the course there? If so then tomorrow would be a great opportunity to check out the uni's facilities, etc

I probably would still apply to Birmingham to do Maths, yes. I like the uni and its atmosphere. The only problem is that, AFAIK, all other departments had their applicant days on weekdays, and tomorrow (Saturday) is Computer Science only.
