A topic that myself and some friends debated today. Would we be better off with excellent grades at an average university, or average grades at an excellent university?

    What are your thoughts?

P.S. Does it actually matter as to which university you go to?

    Bit of both.

I'd rather have a 2:1 from an excellent uni than a first from a mediocre one.

I'd rather have a 2:1 from an average uni than a 2:2 from a good one. the 2:1 is what matters.

Obviously its all theory because the position you want and people get to is a 2:1 from an excellent uni.

    Just do your best.
