When I want to go off to university I would like to have nice things with me. Such as a nice laptop and a custom computer, ect. As I come from a low income household I would probably only be able to afford a nice laptop.

Would it be best to take a gap year so I can work full time in retail and or tutoring and save money for university?

A laptop would be enough, you don’t need a computer too. But it’s a good idea to take a gap year to relieve some of the financial pressures for when you get to uni
