In reflection on my interview where my application was unsuccessful, There was a lot, I could have prepared for. I can firmly say it is not about the questions or scenarios, it is about “have you got the NHS values embedded on your mind while answering the questions?”

Health Profession courses are more “have you got the values and characteristics to be a health professional?”. All courses have a clinical placement.

In Radiography, it is 50% of the course.

NHS constitution is the guide for health profession course interviews. There is more than one answer to questions and scenarios. All answers have a percentage of correctness and incorrectness, but there is no absolute correct answer.

Good luck, everyone in your interviews. Please, share your interview experiences.

In the two interviews that I went to, it was part of the interview process to write about why do you want to do radiography? Why radiography and not any other field?

Also, there is a question that was asked in one of them, “Why this university in particular?”

This is a links to values for Healthcare website. You could register, then watch the video and answer the questions. It will give an overall assessment and a more detailed assessment. It will be beneficial to get squinted with NHS values as part of your preparation for the interview.

I have applied to 5 universities for Diagnostic Radiography. I went to St. George and City University. So far, the best university in terms of interview is City University. All of the university interviews were good, but St. George Interview was for someone applying to medical school. If you are not very well prepared, you will not do well. I did all right. I prefer the City University Interview style. It is a fair interview which takes into account all your abilities into account. It was an excellent experience for me. In my humble opinion, City University in London is the best by far. The university has a Cambridge Questionnaire before the interview which assess your personality before the interview. The interview is more to confirm that assessment and to learn more about the applicant.
